Cassandra's Journey 2: The Fifth Sun of Nostradamus - Guide

Chapter 1

• Now that Cassandra has her Grandmother's ring, she can help Violet search for her brother.
  
• Take the key off of the center table. It will automatically go into your inventory.
  
• Click on the inventory tab.
  
• Take the key from your inventory and use it on the chest.
  
• Take the crystal ball from the chest.
  
• Place the crystal ball on the stand.

• Locate all the hidden objects on the list.
  
• You will need to move the suitcase to find one object.

• Place the books on the shelf.
  
• Place the 10 candles in the 10 candlesticks.
  
• Use the matches to light the 10 candles.
  
• Use the matches to light the fireplace.
  
• Click on the cord to close the curtains.
  
• Click on the light switch to turn off the light.

• The object of this mini-game is to help Cassandra reveal what is in the crystal ball.
  
• Use the cursor to wipe away the darkness until the image is clear.

• The evil spirit that came through the crystal ball knocks you unconscious and sends you to Nostradamus.
  
• Choose any item in any cabinet and click on the pillow over that item.
  
• For this walkthrough, we have chosen the purple glove.
  
• Click on the left pillow.

• The purple glove has moved to the center cabinet.
  
• Click on the center pillow.

• The purple glove has remained in the center cabinet.
  
• Click on the center pillow.

• Through the power of numbers, Nostradamus has divined that our item is the purple glove.
  
• Click on the purple glove.

Chapter 2

• Locate all the hidden objects on the list.
  
• You will need to open 3 cabinet doors, a drawer and the refrigerator.

• Look at the salad recipe hanging over the stove.
  
• Place the salad ingredients (lettuce, tomatoes, olives, cheese and shrimp) into the salad bowl.

• Look at the pizza recipe on the lower left of the table.
  
• Place the ingredients (flour, sauce, mushroom, sausage, and peppers) onto the pizza pan.
  
• Open the open and place the pizza inside.
  
• Close the pizza door. A timer will appear.
  
• When the pizza is finished cooking, take it from the oven.

• Look at the pumpkin soup recipe on the lower right of the table.
  
• Turn on the water in the sink.
  
• Wash the potatoes in the sink.
  
• Place the ingredients (pumpkin, onions and potatoes) into the soup tureen on the stove.

• Now that Cassandra has eaten, lets try some solitaire divination.
  
• The object of this Fairway style mini-game is to remove the cards from the tableau and access 4 of the base or bottom cards in a stack.
  
• The card dealt from the reserve deck at the bottom determines which cards you can remove.
  
• You must take cards that are either one higher or one lower in number.
  
• When there are no more moves, click on the deck to deal another card.
  
• The four numbers reveal Michael's address.

CHAPTER 1: A STRANGE LETTER

CHECK MAIL

• Grab the Mail on the gate and it will land on the table.
  
• Click on the Mail on the table for a closer view.
  
• Click on all the mail on the table until only one remains.
  
• Click on the last Letter for a closer view. It’s a letter from Chad, he’s wondering if the cache is still under the board on the porch.
  
• Close out the pop-up window.

FIND SECRET CACHE

• Pick up the Crowbar the arrow is pointing to in the lower left corner.
  
• Place the Crowbar on the loose board in the lower right side of the floor to reveal the cache under the porch.
  
• Click on the cache for a closer view.
  
• Pick up the Pruning Shears inside the cache.
  
• Click on the Old Letter and read it. It says that Chad found a new way to do cryptography, ink appears when hot.
  
• Exit out of the cache.

• Use the Pruning Shears to cut the White Roses close to the gate to find another cache.
  
• Click on the Loose Stone for a closer view.
  
• Place the Crowbar on the Loose Stone to remove it and pick up the Key.

• Place the Key on the lock of the Wardrobe on the left to unlock it.
  
• Click on the Wardrobe to take a closer look.
  
• Pick up the Iron on the top shelf. Look for the rest of the items on the list.

• Pick up the Matchbook on top of the Wardrobe.
  
• Pick up the Paper Airplane on the tree close to the gate.
  
• Pick up the Coals in the red wheelbarrow.

IRON MINI-GAME

• The iron pops up in the middle of the screen.
  
• Click on the cover to open it.
  
• Place the Coals inside the Iron and the lid will shut.
  
• Use the right arrow to change the view of the Iron.

• Click on the latch in the back of the Iron to unhook it.
  
• Click on the cover to open it.
  
• Insert the Paper in the back of the Iron.
  
• Insert the Match in the back of the Iron to heat it.
  
• The Heated Iron will go back into inventory.

REVEAL INVISIBLE INK

• Click on the Mail on the table for a closer view.
  
• Place the Heated Iron directly on the Letter.
  
• You will be taken to a new scene in which you see the Heated Iron passing through the letter.
  
• The note appears on the screen, it says:”Natalie! Help me! Come to 302 Sutter Street at once. Hurry! Chad.”
  
• Exit out of that window.

• Click on the Laptop’s Keyboard so you can use Mapit.com to find the location.
  
• When you click on the Laptop, the address will be typed into the screen and the mapping will begin on its own.
  
• Click on the pulsating square on the screen to end this chapter.

CHAPTER 2: THE ART GALLERY

HEART EXHIBIT

• Pick up the Screwdriver on the left side of the ground.
  
• Pick up the blue Drill without a Bit in the middle of the floor.
  
• Click on the red Heart Exhibit in the ceiling.
  
• Find the 9 pieces of the heart in the scene.
  
• The 9 Heart pieces are circled in yellow in the screenshot.

• Click on the Key Exhibit in the middle of the floor for a closer view.
  
• Use the Screwdriver on each of the screws to remove them.
  
• Pick up the Key to the Heart.

• Click on the Heart for a closer view.
  
• Place the Heart Fragment into the Heart and a Keyhole will appear.
  
• Place the Key to the Heart in the Keyhole for a Camera to appear.
  
• Click on the Camera’s Eject Button and a CD will come out of the slot.
  
• Click on the CD and watch the surveillance video.
  
• You will notice someone taking pictures off the wall.
  
• Exit out of that window.

• Click on the Guardian on the right for a closer view.
  
• Look at the symbols on the Lock and find them in the scene. The 5 Lock pieces are highlighted in green in the scene.

FIND PAINTINGS

• Click on the curtain on the left to remove it.
  
• Grab the red Stepladder on the left.
  
• Click on the left side of the wall to uncover the place in which the paintings were removed. You will be asked to find the 4 Paintings after this action has been performed.
  
• Please look at the screenshot for the locations of the Paintings.
  
• Click on the Four Seasons Exhibit on the left side of the wall for a closer view.
  
• Place the 4 Paintings on the wall.

UNLOCK DOOR

• Once the paintings are placed, picture on the back wall, close to the window falls down.
  
• Pick up the Key that appears on the back wall.
  
• Click on the Guardian for a closer look.
  
• Place the ‘Part of the Lock’ on the lock.
  
• Place the Key on the door’s keyhole.
  
• Click on the Basement door and you will be taken to a quick cut scene.

BASEMENT

• Pick up the red Box Cutter close to the painting on the right.
  
• Pick up the Newspaper on the ground.
  
• Click on the fire on the floor to receive a message to put out the fire.
  
• Place the Stepladder on the Toolbox that’s in between the steps and the exit door.
  
• Click on the Toolbox for a closer view.
  
• Pick up the Drill Bit and the Knitting Needle inside the Toolbox.
  
• The Drill Bit automatically merges with the Drill in inventory.

OPEN THE DOOR

• Click on the Door Window for a closer view and you will see the Key. Close the window view for now.
  
• Place the Newspaper under the door.
  
• Place the Knitting Needle in the Keyhole.
  
• The Knitting Needle pushes the Key out of the lock and onto the Newspaper.
  
• Click on the Newspaper under the door and the Key will go into your inventory.
  
• Place the Key into the keyhole to open the door.
  
• Click on the door to enter.

HIDDEN OBJECT SCENE

• Pick up the Fire Extinguisher on the left side of the wall.
  
• Pick up the UV Light on top of the ladder.

EXTINGUISH FIRE

• Place the Fire Extinguisher on the fire in the bucket.
  
• Click on the bucket for a closer view.
  
• Pick up the Switch inside the bucket.
  
• Click on Chad’s Diary to read it. The message talks about Kitty. He also says that he wrote Kitty’s number on the back of a painting. To see the number you have to turn on the Ultraviolet Light.
  
• Exit out of that window.

REPAIR SWITCH

• Place the Switch on the Broken Switch in the upper left side of the scene.
  
• Click on the Switch to turn off the lights in the Art Gallery.
  
• Close the exit door and click on the phone. The receiver is missing.
  
• Let’s go back to the Art Gallery.

OPEN SAFE

• Click on the safe on the left for a closer view.
  
• Click on the wooden door to remove it.
  
• Place the Drill with a Bit on the safe and it will drill 3holes into the safe.
  
• Click on the safe to open it.
  
• Pick up Kitty’s Portrait and the Phone Receiver inside the safe.

REVEAL PHONE NUMBER

• Click on the large painting for a closer view.
  
• Place the Ultraviolet Light in the Fluorescent Light Fixture.
  
• Use the Box Cutter to cut the Painting out.
  
• Place Kitty’s Portrait in the empty frame.
  
• The numbers 807-1795 appear on the painting.
  
• Go back to the Basement.

• Click on the door to closer it if you haven’t done so already.
  
• Click on the Phone for a closer view.
  
• Place the Phone Receiver on the Phone.
  
• Dial “8071795” and you will be taken to a cut scene of Natalie talking to Kitty.

The Mirror Mysteries - Guide

CHAPTER 1: GIANT CLOCK WORLD

CLOCK ROOM

• The game will show you the first 3 items in the scene and where they belong.
  
• The first screenshot shows you the locations of all the fragmented items in the scene. All matching items have been color coordinated.
  
• Place the completed items as shown in the second screenshot.
  
• You will be taken to the map after all available items have been placed.
  
• Click on the book in the lower right corner to travel to another part of the world.

LOST CUCKOO

• Pick up the item according to the image in the screenshot.
  
• The Wooden Spindle and the Chains will go into your Shared Items Tray on the right.
  
• The Key and the Bolt will be found at a later time.
  
• Place the completed Boards in the upper right corner.
  
• Go into the Pendulum World.

PENDULUM

• Pick up the items according to the image in the screenshot.
  
• The Key will go into your shared Items in the upper right.
  
• Place the Matches inside the Matchbox in the center of the scene.
  
• The Torn Letter goes in the envelope in the upper right.
  
• Place the Chain in the Shared Items Tray on the chain hanging in the upper right.
  
• The Metal Lid goes on the silver container next to the pipe.
  
• The black piece goes at the end of the pipe.
  
• Go to the Messy Table.

MESSY TABLE

• Pick up the items according to the markings on the screenshot.
  
• The Buttons, the White Ceramic Piece and the Dice will go into your Shared Items Tray.
  
• Place the Bolts in the lower right.
  
• Go to the Corner Shelves location.

CORNER SHELVES

• Pick up the items according to the markings on the screenshot.
  
• The Gear in the first box cannot be picked up right away.
  
• The Brushes, the Bottle Stopper and the Thimble will go into the Shared Items Tray.
  
• Place the Shoestrings on the boot in the lower right.
  
• The Wooden Spindle goes on the shelf next to the other spindles.
  
• Place the Buttons next to the button in the middle shelf.
  
• The White Ceramic piece goes on the broken white mug in the lower right.
  
• Go back to the Messy Table.

MESSY TABLE

• Place the Thimble on the spoon with oil in the lower left.
  
• The Thimble fills with oil, click on the Thimble and it will go back into the Shared Items.
  
• Place the Bottle Stopper on the dripping bottle close to the spoon.
  
• This screen has been completed. Go back to the Pendulum location.

PENDULUM

• Place the Brushes in the white cup in the upper left.
  
• The Dice go in the box in the lower left.
  
• Go back to the Lost Cuckoo room.

LOST CUCKOO – INSIDE CLOCKWORK

• Place the Key in the lock. You’ve just unlocked the Clockwork Box.
  
• Click on the Clockwork Box to enter it.
  
• Place the Thimble of Oil in the upper right side. The gears will start moving.
  
• Pick up the Bolt in the lower left corner. A gear will go into your Shared Items once the bolt has been picked up.
  
• Close out that window.
  
• Pick up the Key in the upper center of the scene. The Key goes into Shared Items.
  
• Go back to the Corner Shelves.

CORNER SHELVES

• Place the Key in the keyhole of the globe in the upper left to open the small door.
  
• Pick up the Gear at the base of the snow globe.
  
• Go back to the Clock Room.

CLOCK ROOM

• Place the Gears in the spots according to the screenshot.
  
• The clock has been fixed. You will receive two mirror pieces which will allow you to enter the next world.

CHAPTER 2: FROZEN WORLD

THRONE ROOM

• Please pick up the items according to the markings in the screenshot.
  
• The Pans go into the Shared Items.
  
• Place the Tassels on the curtains in the upper right.
  
• The Chandelier goes in the upper center.
  
• Place the Stone pieces on the mantle over the fireplace.
  
• The Antlers go in the upper left.
  
• Go to the Castle Gate location.

CASTLE GATE – INSIDE CASTLE GATE

• Pick up the items according to the markings on the screenshot.
  
• Place the Snowman’s Head on the pile of snow in the lower right.
  
• Place the Flag in the upper left side of the castle.
  
• There is an extra location in this scene, click on the entrance to access it.
  
• Inside the Castle Gate, pick up the 2 Shovel pieces in the scene. Close the window.
  
• The Gong pieces and the Shovel will be stored in your Shared Items section.
  
• Go to Castle Kitchen.

CASTLE KITCHEN – INSIDE WOODEN CHEST

• Pick up the items according to the markings on the screenshot.
  
• There is an extra location in this scene, click on the wooden chest in the lower left to access it.
  
• Inside the wooden chest you can find the knife pieces, the onion, the paper and the red pepper. Please look at the screenshot for the locations of all these items.
  
• Close the window out.

• Place the Knife on the side of the white plate in the lower right.
  
• Place the food items on the white plate in the lower right.
  
• The Chalices belong in the upper right side of the scene.
  
• The Pans belong in the upper right corner.
  
• After the Pans have been placed in their right spots, symbols will appear in the back of them.
  
• Click on the 3 symbols in the back of the Pans to complete the paper in the inventory box.
  
• The Bottle and the Paper go in the Shared Items Tray.
  
• Go to the Old Armory.

OLD ARMORY

• Pick up the items according to the markings in the screenshot.
  
• The Scarf, the Shield, the Mallet and Armor pieces will go into the Shared Items.
  
• The extra location in this scene is on the left side of the wall.
  
• Click on the left side of the wall to trigger a puzzle.

RUNE WALL PUZZLE

• Place the Paper with the Runes on the swords.
  
• Your goal is to click on the switches (stones) in the right order shown on the paper.
  
• Once the paper has been placed, couple of the switches will turn on.
  
• If any of the Runes are lit, click on them to turn them off.
  
• Please click on the runes in the order shown in the screenshot.
  
• Close that window to return to the Old Armory.
  
• Pick up the 2 items that appear in the niche in the back of the wall.
  
• Go to the Frozen Garden.

FROZEN GARDEN

• Pick up the items according to the markings on the screenshot.
  
• The Logs will go into the Shared Items Tray.
  
• Place the Birdhouse in the upper right corner.
  
• The Watering Can parts belong on the watering can in the lower left corner.
  
• The Shovel belongs on the right side of the steps, by the back wall.
  
• Once the Shovel has been placed, pick up the stick that appears in the snow.
  
• Go back to the Castle Gate.

CASTLE GATE

• Click Inside the Castle Gate.
  
• Place the sticks on the drawbridge lift. Close the window out.
  
• Place the Mallet in the lower left corner to lift the bridge.
  
• Pick up the Clipper Part under the bridge. The Clipper goes into your Shared Items.
  
• This screen has been completed.
  
• Go back to the Frozen Garden.

FROZEN GARDEN

• Place the Clippers on the bark of the tree on the right.
  
• Place the Knit Scarf on the Rose.
  
• Click on the Rose to pick it up.
  
• Go back to the Throne Room.

THRONE ROOM

• The Armor Pieces go on the armor on the right.
  
• Place the Logs in the Fireplace.
  
• The Gong goes on the stand on the floor.
  
• The Bottle goes on the small table behind the gong.
  
• Place the Shield on the left side of the scene. The reflection of the shield bounces off of different things in the room and lights up the fireplace.
  
• Give the Rose to the King and he will give you 2 mirrors.
